Investing - Theory, News & General • Variable Percentage Withdrawal (VPW)

Longinvest, is there a way to use the spreadsheet with 100/0 stock/bond? Regardless of the view on being too risky, many people don't allocate to bonds even during withdrawal... Even more so now with the new papers that have come out regarding bonds.

If not, is there a way on the next update to allow for that?

Thank you!
I think, if you make a copy of the VPW accum and retire spreadsheet, that it can be done. Normally this is done in the top left of the page for "Info for 2024" but this only goes to 90% stocks.

Scroll down a bit to ratios, and you can make it 100% stocks.

I'm not seeing the ratios section. Is there anyway you can guide me to it a bit more detailed? I truly appreciate it, kind stranger.

Update: I figured out what you're talking about. When you change it manually to 100/0 it doubles the amount the withdrawal from the 90/10 it seems. I don't think it works properly changing it that way, unless you know a trick.
When I change mine the percent withdrawal went from 5.7% to 5.9%, this for 90% stocks to 100%. Looks good to me.
Got it, for some reason it's working on my PC, but on my phone it was acting funky. Thank you so much!
