35.( Masters in 79) In 86, Quit doing emergency psychiatric evaluations and went back to school to get a school certificate, joining spouse in the educational environment and schedule! Took a 50% pay cut! Worked out great. Gave me every summers off the rest of my working life so we could go away and sail for 2 1/2 months every summer.Just curious if anyone has made a major career change in their mid-forties? Would you recommend it and how did it work out? It would include getting a masters degree.
Does this sound reasonable or doable? A part of me says I can do it and another part of me thinks it's too late to try and start over fresh.
I would be grateful for any feedback. Especially from people who have gone through something like this.
