Some Goodyear tires (Reliant, Assurance Outlast) are sold exclusively at Walmart. This is probably intentional so it's harder for price sensitive shoppers to price shop resellers.Different manufacturers will set their own tire prices with what they think it will sell for. Stores will sell for different prices depending on their contract with the manufacturer and volume etc. Tirerack has good prices but you can also look at someplace like Walmart. I stick with name brands. For my next oil change I am getting Goodyear tires from a local shop that price matches. The same tire has different prices everywhere I look with Walmart being the cheapest.
I see online debate if the quality is the same compared to non-exclusive Goodyear tires. I guess only the Goodyear people will know for sure.
