Non-US Investing • Sending funds from personal Vanguard accounts to an overseas bank account [New Zealand]

Welcome to the forum.
Vanguard has sent me a link to a wire services request form, so that I can add my NZ bank account. However I cannot access it via my Vanguard portal as my account cannot be not web registered (due to being a non-US resident). I am unclear whether it is possible for them to email me a pdf of the form.
They could certainly email it if they felt inclined. Their customer service is however, sadly, somewhat poor these days (used to be a lot better), so you may find it hard to persuade them to actually do this. Once you receive it, you will then have to return it to them, probably by snail-mail. But, as alluded to by Else above, it may require US-specific nonsense such as a 'medallion signature guarantee', something broadly unobtainable outside of the US, at least without making a day trip to your local US consulate.
Has anyone who is non-resident alien successfully added an overseas bank account to their personal Vanguard account, and managed to receive their funds?
Only when resident in the US. After leaving, no.

My current route around this is to use a Wise multi-currency account. This is a single account with multiple country facets, one of which will be local, and (crucially) another appears as an entirely regular domestic US bank account (so ACH routing number, and so on). If you open one, Vanguard should be able to add its US bank account's details to your account. You can then move USD to that, move USD to NZD inside your Wise account, and then transfer NZD to your local bank seamlessly.

Wise's exchange rates and fees are decent, certainly much better than your bank would offer. Other options include Revolut (no direct experience), and potentially Interactive Investors (a brokerage, but with truly skimpy forex charges).

ETA: Beaten to it by aspiring_kiwi. So that's two recommendations/suggestions for Wise and Interactive Brokers, then.
