Personal Consumer Issues • Worth it to buy a Tesla?

Hi all,

I am in the market for a new car and have been debating buying a Tesla. The other options I have been looking at have been the Camry or a small SUV such as the Honda CRV. The Tesla appears to be the best value out of these options. However, my fears with the Tesla is that the battery warranty is only for 100k miles which I will do in about 4 years.
Also I am worried about the value of the car depreciating as Tesla lowers the price of their newer models.
