Have you reviewed the dollar cost averaging wiki page?My Fidelity advisor, who I no longer trust to get advice from, asked me the question a few weeks ago about whether I wanted to invest all the cash right away or DCA into index funds. Rather than asking him his opinion since I no longer trust him and won't be using him going forward, I decided to bring the question here to this audience. Has nothing to do with doubting the asset allocation, just following the Bogleheads Guide to Investing on that one...
It recommends lump sum, assuming you want the statistics on your side.
