Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Retirement: what was more expensive than anticipated?

I keep expanding my travel budget. I retired in 2021, so still enjoying it. I have found that I am more likely to spend to be comfortable (first class, nicer lodgings). Furniture at my new place was more than I was expecting. Could have bought used, but wanted to buy exactly what I wanted for once. I'm well below 4% withdrawal rate, so it's all good.
