Thank you for that info. Could you please point me to the place where we can see that a big percentage of people were unemployed for 2+ years ? I'd like to be able to dig deeper and learn more about that group i.e. profession, average years of experience etc.Look at the Labor department statistics during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. A significant percentage of people were unemployed for 2+ years. You can expect that to be the case again during the next crash.
BUT, I wonder if 2008 was different than whatever we might have in the near future, especially because of all the money printing by the FED. After covid, the FED printed so much. I wonder if that printed cash has let us kick any cans down the road much longer.
