I think PDX is the airport code for Portland International Airport, but hipsters started calling Portland area proper "PDX" a while back. Unfortunately it's kind of stuck.Where is PDX?
That said, Boulder, Davis, CA, Fort Collins, PDX, and Madison are the only five municipalities recognized by League of American Bicyclists as Platinum level cities (highest rating available). Of the five, PDX has the most mass-transit options. I personally am biased toward Madison, which has one of the most extensive cycling networks (on-street and off-street) around.Can you give some examples of cities that are set up for biking through sleet and snow?
There is a fair number of people who bike year around in the north through sleet and snow. Granted, not for everyone but there are cities that are set up for it.
