Is there something "more" that you want to learn? Or something more the Bogleheads philosophy should be addressing?...
Not sure how to phrase this sentiment, but I feel like most of what I read on Bogleheads just confirms what I already know about personal finance. Occasionally, someone will point out a specific tax benefit or other items, but often I feel like, after reading a handful of personal finance books including the Bogleheads guides and listening to various personal finance podcasts, there isn't much more to learn or actionable ideas related to the portfolio. Not to say boring is bad. I guess this is summed up in the mantra "Stay the Course."

Also, you probably answered your question by noting that forum posters are in various stages of learning about personal finance so what is repetitious to you is new for many others. And even when personal finance lessons have been learned, there is, as you also noted, the hardest part of it all, the final challenge that will ultimately tell you how well you've learned: "stay the course," i.e., you've learned it, now go do it.
