OP, Im around the same age as you, similar net worth, and I am also in the recruiting industry. Ive been laid off enough in my career that it almost feels normal now lol.
I know its a tough time in the recruiting industry but things seem to be picking up little by little. Im already seeing more and more recruiter positions being posted by the large companies. Everytime Ive been laid off I landed a much better role a few months later. You will be ok!
Not much to add other than, start looking for other jobs NOW, reach out to your network, mass apply to any and everything that seems like a fit (local, hybrid, remote etc).
