I had a similar message on my account: you will not be recieving taxforms for this year. I thought that meant for tax year 2025, because I had moved my holdings to Schwab international in fall of 2024. Or perhaps the message was related to the closing of the legacy accounts year end 2025 and not issuing taxforms for that account anymore? I recieved my Vanguard 2024 1042s on 3.7. 2025. Unfortunately this type of confusing communication has become standard for Vanguard clients.According to the Vanguard website, 1042-S Forms for 2024 were supposed to be made available on March 7 :

However, I have not received these for any of my accounts. To the contrary, I am seeing the following message on the website
"You won’t be getting any tax forms from Vanguard for 2024 "
I have been receiving the 1042-S for the last few years and had tens of thousands of dollars in taxes withheld for 2024, so clearly the IRS should have had to be notified about that through the 1042-S. When I had called up Vanguard customer service on March 7, the representative had told me, after consulting with Vanguard Tax Services, that the message was an error and the form should be on the website before March 8. However, they have still not been uploaded and I am starting to get worried now.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation and can provide any advice ?
