It's a money market fund, so there's no ETF class and no capital gains or losses from selling.

I don't know if Merrill supports it. You can always try an ACATS transfer to see. You can't buy any more.

Personally, I use TTTXX as an alternative at Merrill, though it's somewhat more expensive. I don't mind keeping some there since I get same-day liquidity if I transact before the cutoff.

I considered using XHLF last year at 3bp as an alternative, though it's not a money market mutual fund. I couldn't buy it last year at Merrill Edge since the ETF was restricted, but that no longer appears to be the case. (Edit: While I'm pretty sure I couldn't buy XHLF last year, I'm not certain.)
I can confirm that you can ACATS transfer VUSXX into Merrill. You just can't buy more.
