You think there is enough of us across the US to make a difference. 2 docs across different states is not going to cut it. We either need 100+ docs in a system or thousands across the US. We need enough physicians willing to slow down and put our healthcare system to a crawl. We need enough physicians where the news media steps in. Insurance companies will love it if we slow down which is one of our adversaries. We charge less and they make more profit. We need to get it to a point where the government steps in and forces the insurance companies to negotiate. We need to get the pharmaceutical industry and the large hospital systems to negotiate. We need all these physicians to have the same goal in mind and allow a form of collective bargaining to take place but still not be unionized. This is no easy task.I'm down. Lets go. Where do we start?
I couldn’t agree more. Sadly, most doctors are too scared to join together and clean up our medical system. All it would take is a slowdown and the entire system will succumb to our demands. But to do that doctors need to be willing to forgo their income for a few weeks, maybe a few months. Very few are willing to do that.
