(I don't think "Chrome" itself runs on Linux, but Chrome is built on Chromium).

There is a native Linux version of Chrome. I'm using it here on my Linux Mint machine and have been for some time. (It doesn't appear in the Mint repository, you have to go to chrome.google.com and download and install it by hand.)
