I'm not so sure about that.Wow. This post was started 15 years ago, long before I joined the forum. It strikes me that "evaluating one's jitters" is more philosophical than actionable, so I'm surprised it continues. Apparently, I have no jitters because I have always been nearly 100% equities. It worked out well for me.
To me, evaluating your jitters is a way to understand your own risk level, and the action that leads to calming those jitters is education.
Just in the past couple months of reading here and whitecoat investor I have learned a lot, enough to calm my own jitters and better understand the level of risk I can, and am willing, to take while investing my future retirement.
