I went to make our annual QCDs this morning and saw that VG enhanced their process. You can now make multiple QCDs from your settlement fund.
Unfortunately, finding the QCD start page still remains difficult, at least for me.
Here are the steps I took:
1. After logging on, click on your IRA account.
2. Select Transact, then sell mutual funds.
3. In the banner that says "Looking to make QCD", select "Settlement Fund"
4. This takes you to the start of the QCD process.
The steps are:
1. Enter total amount of QCDs.
2. Enter the charities. You add 1 at a time.
3. Enter the amount going to each charity. This is a single screen.
4. Confirm the request.
I will update this thread once I get the checks. I suspect it will still be 1 check per envelope, but who knows.
