And we can’t predict the future in equities. Bonds we know what they’ll earn when held to maturity. But we can’t predict taxes for either.The problem is that historical returns can not predict future results. And most of us are concerned about future returns. So, have a somewhat balanced and diversified portfolio. And hope at least something has positive returns.
