This is brilliant! I have similar assets but spend twice as much!This feels like a crazy place to be at 48. Wife and I have hit 4.3m in liquid assets. House paid off at $575k. We have been living well spending $75k yearly after tax.
Still unable to pull the trigger on retirement even though our jobs are high stress with crazy hours. Ironically, this good fortune has been causing unexpected stress.
I know, first world problem lol. There is definitely a psychological aspect to this.
You are so golden, why are you stressing at all? This is all non financial concerns now.
