Personal Investments • Taxable brokerage better than Roth and Traditional?

Why is Roth always better? If you can't cover your expenses by withdrawing only contributions you will pay a penalty.
If you have so little in Roth that you run out of contribution money before age 59.5, you may be in difficult shape over the next 30-some years.
Also, what if you don't have health insurance and want an ACA plan with a subsidy. If you only have Roth, you will have no 'income' and will be forced onto Medicaid.
That's why having traditional in addition to Roth will usually be good.
Roth does not seem to always be better. This is the premise of my post.
Never say always. ;)
